صَرَفَ (النقود أو الصَّك)‏ \ change: to give coins or smaller notes in place of (a bank note, etc.): Can you change this $10 note, please?. give sb. the sack: to sack sb.. \ صَرَفَ \ cash: give or get cash in return for a cheque etc.. \ See Also قَبَضَ نَقْدًا \ صَرَفَ (من العمل)‏ \ discharge: to send (sb.) away from work, as unwanted. \ See Also فصل (فَصَلَ)‏ \ صَرَفَ الانْتِبَاه عَن \ distract: to cause (the mind or attention of sb.) to wander: The noise distracted me (or my attention) from my work. \ صَرَفَ من الخدمة \ sack: to stop employing sb.
